Plan your Test Cycles

Zephyr for JIRA makes it really simple to plan test execution cycles and set up the list of tests that need to be run for each version or release or sprint. You can group your tests into various test cycles, add and remove tests from it and allow access to your testers to methodically run through executions cycles.

While executions are in progress, progress bars give a real-time view on how each of the test cycles are progressing. Color-coded bars provide instant status on each of the different execution states - Pass, Fail, Blocked, Work-in-Progress or Unexecuted. You can also customize and add your own execution states as well as color codes for maximum customizability.

Test cycles across all versions of a project are available to view and interact with. The ability to open any test cycle, get instant status of its progress and start executing right away significantly increases productivity for any tester. The seamless navigation from a test execution to a test and back speeds up the create, review, fix and re-execute process.

Tests can be easily added to any test cycle in multiple ways - either while creating the test, while setting up its execution or from the test cycle itself where one or multiple tests can be added to it.
