KickStart Program and Training Services

Your success is our number one goal, and training your staff on how to best use Zephyr to fit your organization and processes is critical to achieving this. The Zephyr KickStart is a 2 day program that deploys and configures a comprehensive Test Management System for your particular environment and trains the entire test team on its usage. Our QA experts will have you up and running rapidly with your own data so that you can realize immediate value in your investment. Key elements of the Kickstart program include:

• Discovery Phase: Understanding your release cycles, testcase repository structure, tools and metrics requirements, etc.
• Setup and Configuration Phase: Installation and setup of either the SaaS or on-premise version, setup of users, projects, releases, testcase repository, schedules, and integration with defect tracking and automation.
• Training Phase: Training your QA team using the Zephyr environment configured in the first two phases of KickStart so as to provide maximum effectiveness.

We are able to also set up customized training to meet the specific needs of your team. All training is instructor lead and can be done in person at your company location or via an online webinar.

Technical Consulting

Our team of Zephyr experts can assist you with a number of areas of Zephyr setup and configuration including customizations, integrations, development of custom reports and migration of your current testing data set from other testing tools.

• Customizations: We can quickly customize Zephyr to fit your needs and processes
• Integrations: With our flexible SOA-based architecture and Web Services APIs, setting up integrations is very simple with most automation frameworks and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Bugzilla. However, if you have specific third party tools for which out-of-the-box integrations are not currently available, our team of consultants can help you build out the integration needed.
• Data Import: Zephyr provides a means of importing testcases and requirements from Excel but if you currently have a large database of testcases, let our consultants help devise and complete an import mechanism from your current test management tool to Zephyr. We can import existing testcases and requirements and other related data from virtually any legacy platform into Zephyr.
• Custom Reports Development: Zephyr provides a set of live, comprehensive metrics and trend reports right out of the box which can be accessed by Zephyr users and the larger organization. Zephyr also includes a powerful reporting engine with an easy to use UI that will allow you to easily define and run custom reports. However, our consultants can assist or drive development of custom reports to meet your specific needs.
