ORDERING & PRICING

  • How much does Zephyr for JIRA cost?
  • Zephyr for JIRA is available only for the Download version of JIRA 5.x and is very affordable. The license model has been structured to align with JIRA's license tiers - which means you have to purchase the same # of licenses as what you have on your JIRA 5.x server. All licenses are perpetual and include 12 months of software maintenance and support. License tiers cannot be combined nor can we do custom tiers. If you have the grandfathered JIRA 100+ or Unlimited JIRA, please pick the 500 User or higher tier below.

  • What is the process for ordering Zephyr for JIRA?
  • You can place an online order for a new license, upgrade your license to a higher tier or renew your license for an additional year. Once you have provided payment details and placed an order successfully, you will receive a receipt via email, and another email with your license key.

  • How will I get the license key?
  • License bought from the Zephyr website will be emailed to you when full payment is confirmed. If you have not received a key within 12 hours of placing a successful order, please check your Spam/Junk folder and if you still do not see it, email Zephyr Orders at salesorders@getzephyr.com.

  • What payment types do you support?
  • We accept the following credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal.

  • My company buys software via a PO process. What can I do?
  • Email us at salesorders@getzephyr.com and we'll help you with that process. Alternately, you can buy directly from the Atlassian Marketplace where you may already have a my.atlassian.com account.

  • How can I request a quote?
  • We can send you an obligation-free quote if you send us your details via email to Zephyr Orders at salesorders@getzephyr.com. Please include your Name, Contact information, Company information, and which product and license tier(s) you are interested in. Alternately, you can request a quote directly from the Atlassian Marketplace where you may already have a my.atlassian.com account.

  • Do you discount?
  • Ever so often we might run a promotion - like the Summer Sale going on right now! Like Atlassian's JIRA, our aim is to provide affordable pricing to everyone in a seamless buying experience. Our pricing is transparent.

  • Do you offer discounts for academic institutions or resellers?
  • You can avail of these discounts by buying directly from the Atlassian Marketplace.

  • Can I pay in a currency other than US Dollars?
  • For online sales from the Zephyr website, you have a choice of over 10 different currencies, including AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, HKD, JPY, NZD and SGD. We can only do quotes in USD.

  • What about taxes?
  • What about them? We all have to pay them, don't we? All applicable sales tax or VAT will be displayed in your checkout order process.

    SUPPORT & RENEWALS

  • What kind of support does Zephyr offer?
  • Customers receive online support via email, Support Forums, Online Help, Zephyr TV and Knowledge Base. Check out our Support section.

  • Why should I renew every year?
  • For multiple very good reasons. First, you will always get the latest and greatest product. Our products evolve with significant updates, innovation, fixes and performance improvements. Second, you continue to avail of great support from our team for another 12 months.

  • How do I renew?
  • If you have bought your original licenses from the Zephyr website, you can purchase 1 year renewals via our online ordering system. Please have your account number ready (begins with a "ZB-xxxxx" and can be found in the "About Zephyr" or "License" section of the product).

    If you have bought your original licenses from the Atlassian Marketplace you'll need to renew them from there.

    Please note that the renewal begins from the date of the previous maintenance expiration, regardless of when the renewal was purchased.

  • What happens when the 1-year included maintenance expires?
  • After the first 12 months, your software will be "out of maintenance" which means you will not be able to get software updates or technical support. The expiration date is clearly displayed in the "About Zephyr" and "License" section of the software. You can purchase your next year's renewal ahead of the actual expiration to ensure uninterrupted service.

    If you have bought your original licenses from the Atlassian Marketplace you'll need to renew them from there.

    All Zephyr for JIRA licenses are perpetual, so you will be able to use the product the same way before and after the maintenance period expires, as long as it is used with the version of JIRA that it is maked as being compatible with. We encourage customers to keep their JIRA and Zephyr for JIRA renewals in lock-step in order to ensure uninterrupted usage.

    Please note that the renewal begins from the date of the previous maintenance expiration, regardless of when the renewal was purchased.

    UPGRADES

  • What upgrade paths are available?
  • You can upgrade from a lower tier to an upper tier. If you bought your original licenses from the Zephyr website, the Upgrade order shows all possible upgrade paths and their pricing. On upgrading from one tier to the next, the software maintenance and support is reset for 12 months. License tiers cannot be combined nor can we do custom tiers. If you need to upgrade to the higher enterprise tiers (2000, 10000 or 10000+), please email us at salesorders@getzephyr.com

    If you have bought your original licenses from the Atlassian Marketplace you'll need to upgrade them from there.

  • How do I buy an upgrade?
  • If you bought your original licenses from the Zephyr website, you can purchase upgrades via our online ordering system. Please have your Customer ID ready (begins with a "ZB-xxxxx" and can be found in the "About Zephyr" or "License" section of the product).

    If you have bought your original licenses from the Atlassian Marketplace you'll need to upgrade them from there.

    GENERAL

  • Would additional licenses be required if multiple instances of the software were to be installed on a single server?
  • Yes, just like you'd need additional licenses for JIRA in this scenario. Each Zephyr for JIRA license permits only the deployment of the application on a single instance of JIRA in a commercial environment.

  • What if I have a development server or staging server for testing purposes?
  • You can get a 30-day free evaluation license (which is fully functional) to use for these purposes.

  • Where can I read your End User License Agreement (EULA)?
  • Right here.

  • Do you offer Professional Services? Training?
